Djibril Tobe has been appointed the new managing director of Airtel Kenya, succeeding Ashish Malhotra, who has taken up a new role as CEO of Indus Towers Africa. The appointment was announced by the board of Airtel Networks Kenya Limited today. Tobe brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods and consulting across African markets. He previously served as managing director of Airtel Congo Brazzaville, a position he held since May 2023.
