Media personality Jeridah Andayi has sparked emotional conversations online after urging Kenyans to reach out to mothers silently battling feelings of failure in parenthood.
In her Mother’s Day message on social media, the former Radio Citizen presenter said the day is not joyful for every mother, as some question whether they failed their children despite their efforts.
“And then there are those mothers who ask themselves every single day, ‘Where did I go wrong?’ If you know them, please reach out to them and listen to them,” she said.

She explained that even parents who guide their children with discipline and love sometimes watch them take difficult paths in life.
Mothers Share Emotional Confessions Online
Following her remarks, social media users filled the comment section with emotional testimonies, encouragement, and appreciation for speaking openly about the realities many parents face.
One woman shared how unrecognised she feels despite her sacrifices as a mother.
“Like me, no one even wished me Happy Mother’s Day or congratulated me for my hard work every day. Thank God for loving me and giving me strength to raise a great generation,” she wrote.
Another follower, Brenda Mango, admitted she personally related to Jeridah’s message.
