The new offering, unveiled in Nairobi and its peri-urban areas, is aimed at expanding access to high-speed internet, especially in locations where connectivity has remained unreliable or expensive.
The company says the revised plans are designed to boost digital inclusion by combining higher speeds with competitive pricing.
Speaking during the launch, Chief Executive Officer Fred Macharia said the move aligns with the firm’s broader mission to strengthen Kenya’s digital infrastructure while improving customer experience.
“We are committed to ensuring that every customer experiences better speed, better value, and better reliability without disruption,” Macharia said.
The new packages cater to a wide range of users, from casual internet consumers to heavy-duty enterprise clients.
The entry-level “Speed X” package offers 100 Mbps at Sh2,000 per month, targeting basic browsing and streaming needs. Mid-tier users can opt for the “Semi-Pro” plan at 200 Mbps for Sh3,500, while heavier users such as gamers and creatives are served by the 500 Mbps “Turbo” package at Sh6,000. At the top end, the “Fiber Supreme” plan delivers 1 Gbps at Sh9,000 per month for enterprises and high-demand users.
V Squared also revealed that existing customers had already been migrated to the new packages ahead of the public launch, a move it says was meant to ensure seamless service and improved user experience.
The rollout comes at a time when competition among internet service providers in Kenya is intensifying, with firms racing to expand fiber networks and adjust pricing as demand for digital services continues to surge
