The Tourism Fund (TF) has announced a major recruitment drive targeting senior management positions as it seeks to strengthen its operations and support the growth of Kenya’s tourism sector.

In a notice, the State corporation, established under the Tourism Act, 2011, said it is mandated to mobilise resources to finance the development of a sustainable tourism industry in Kenya.

The Fund is looking to fill eight Deputy Director positions across key departments. These include Human Resource Management and Administration, Information Communication Technology, Finance and Accounts, and Legal Services and Board Coordination.

Other vacancies are in Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships, Quality Management System and Risk Management Coordination, Internal Audit, and Corporate Communication and Marketing.

All the positions are senior roles reporting to various directors within the organisation, reflecting a move to reinforce leadership capacity across departments.

Interested applicants have been directed to access full job details through the Tourism Fund careers portal. The organisation emphasised that applications will only be accepted electronically through the platform.

Applicants are required to submit a detailed curriculum vitae, professional certificates, testimonials, and indicate their current salary.

Successful candidates will also be expected to provide compliance documents, including a valid certificate of good conduct, clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Higher Education Loans Board clearance, Kenya Revenue Authority compliance certificate, and a credit reference bureau report.

The Fund noted that those appointed will serve on permanent and pensionable terms.

“All applications to be addressed to: The Chairman, Tourism Fund,” the notice stated, adding that submissions must be completed online by May 19, 2026. The organisation warned that “No hard copies or Email applications will be accepted.”

It also cautioned that “Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” and stressed that “Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.”

The Tourism Fund reiterated its commitment to inclusivity in the recruitment process, stating that it “is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified persons, including the youth, women, persons with disability and persons from minority groups to apply.”

The recruitment comes as the Fund continues to play a central role in financing initiatives aimed at sustaining and expanding Kenya’s tourism industry.
