Gaucho further acknowledged the support of the family of Raila Odinga, saying their belief in him dates back several years.

The outspoken youth leader dedicated the appointment to “Wanaghetto”, crediting grassroots supporters for his rise and urging young people to remain hopeful and focused.

Special thanks go to the family of Raila Odinga Baba and Broad-Based Arrangement, who believed in me long before this moment, and three years ago he assured me he would speak to the President on my behalf. Today, that promise has come to life.To all the government officials who have reached out with congratulations, I am sincerely grateful. Your support means a lot,” Gaucho said.

Above all, I dedicate this achievement to Wanaghetto, the people who have stood by me, believed in me, and lifted me up. This appointment is yours. If I can come this far, then every young person in the ghetto can rise. This is a true reflection of the Bottom-Up vision.

Gaucho called on youth to stay united, disciplined and committed to a just course, invoking a biblical message to encourage resilience and leadership among young people.

The appointment places him in a governance role at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, one of Nairobi’s key public health facilities, as the county government continues to restructure boards across its institutions.

Let us continue to believe in ourselves, stay united and focused, always keep faith in God, be determined and always be loyal to a just course.
