The Kenya School of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (KSTVET) has announced senior-level job vacancies as part of efforts to strengthen leadership and improve the quality of technical and vocational training.

The state corporation has invited qualified candidates to apply for five director-level positions on a five-year contract basis.

The positions include director of the KSTVET Mombasa Regional Campus, director of academic and students’ affairs, director of admissions, assessment and certification, director of research, innovation and extension services and director of corporate services.

According to the notice, each position is graded at KST 2 level and targets experienced professionals capable of supporting the institution’s mandate of training technical and vocational education instructors across Kenya.

The recruitment comes at a time when the government continues to prioritise skills development as a key pillar in strengthening the country’s workforce and supporting economic growth through competency-based training.

KSTVET advised interested candidates to submit their applications through its official website before the stated deadline of April 28 at 5.00 pm.

The institution also emphasised it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged applications from persons living with disability and individuals from marginalised communities.

Meanwhile, the Judiciary of Kenya has separately issued a tender notice inviting sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the provision of goods and services to support court operations.

Among the tenders advertised is the supply and delivery of a Judiciary Mobile Court Truck, an initiative aimed at improving access to justice, especially in remote and underserved areas.

The Judiciary indicated that interested bidders must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the tender documents and submit their proposals within the specified timelines.

The mobile court initiative is expected to enhance outreach services and reduce case backlogs by bringing judicial services closer to communities.

The two announcements reflect ongoing efforts by public institutions to strengthen service delivery through strategic recruitment and infrastructure support across key sectors.
