The Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) has announced new job opportunities for qualified Kenyan professionals as part of efforts to strengthen regulation and management of engineering technologists and technicians.

In a public notice released through official channels, the board invited applications for senior positions including registrar/chief executive officer and deputy director, registration and licensing.

The vacancies are expected to support the institution’s mandate of overseeing professional registration, licensing and compliance within the engineering technology sector.

The position of registrar/chief executive officer is classified under Grade KETRB 1. The person will serve as the board’s chief administrative officer responsible for implementing policies, coordinating operations and providing strategic leadership to ensure effective service delivery.

The successful candidate will also oversee implementation of the board’s regulatory framework and promote professional standards across the sector.

The board also announced a vacancy for the position of deputy director registration and licensing, which is expected to strengthen systems managing professional registration processes and licensing requirements for engineering technologists and technicians seeking recognition under national regulations.

KETRB said the recruitment forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance institutional efficiency and improve service delivery in response to the growing demand for qualified technical professionals in Kenya’s expanding infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Interested applicants have been advised to submit their applications in line with the instructions provided in the official notice.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates during the interview process.
