Kenyan content creator and a streamer Vindee has revealed that he was one of the first people in Kenya to know about the popular American streamer IShowSpeed before he became a global sensation.

Speaking during a recent interview on Homeboyz Radio, Vindee admitted that the streamer was not widely recognized in Kenya when he first discovered him.

During the interview, Vindee reflected on the early days of IShowSpeed’s rise, noting that very few Kenyan YouTubers were aware of him at the time.

“Speed alikua anajulikana na YouTubers wachache hakua anajulikana saana Kenya,” Vindee said, translating to, “Speed was known by only a few YouTubers; he wasn’t really known in Kenya.”

He emphasized that even some prominent public figures like the President were not familiar with the streamer back then.

“Ruto hakua anajua Speed. Kaa si mimi, Ruto hakua anajua Speed,” Vindee added, highlighting that aside from himself, many in Kenya had yet to discover the streamer.
