Well, Corridors of Power is apprised that the lot has vowed that the individual will not take the reins. The scheme is to cast the fellow as an outsider with no legitimate right to claim the now vacant throne. It is alleged that some of the individuals who are related to the targeted politician fear that any gains by their adversary will likely freshen old political wounds.

The man has been crisscrossing the constituency, attending social gatherings and touring projects of his tenure, reminding the locals of the hard work he did. Insiders in his camp supposedly say the man has been restless lately and is leaning on powerful figures with the hope of bagging a legacy project.
