Vincent Musyoka Kawaya speaks during the handing over a Sh5 million donation from President William Ruto for the purchase of a school bus for Mwala Technical and Vocational College/HANDOUT
Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka Kawaya has assured Kenyans that President William Ruto remains committed to fulfilling the promises he has made to the country.
The Mwala Constituency legislator said the President has consistently demonstrated that he keeps his word, noting that Kenyans will witness the delivery of key pledges he has made.
Kawaya spoke while handing over a Sh5 million donation from the President for the purchase of a school bus for Mwala Technical and Vocational College.
The President had earlier promised the institution that he would support it in acquiring a bus to improve mobility for students.
“We have a president who makes promises and fulfills them,” Kawaya stated.
The MP said the support from the Head of State would significantly boost operations at the college by making it easier for students to travel for academic programmes and other learning activities.
“When I requested the president, he agreed to support us with Sh5 million for the bus,” Kawaya said.
Kawaya further credited Ruto for playing a significant role in the establishment of the institution, saying the President supported the project even before he assumed office.
“I played my part as MP but 70 per cent of resources were provided by Ruto,” he highlighted.
According to the legislator, the Kenya Kwanza administration remains focused on implementing development projects aimed at transforming the lives of ordinary Kenyans.
Kawaya expressed confidence that the government’s programmes in education, infrastructure and economic empowerment will continue to benefit communities across the country.

The exercise, he said, will ensure residents have a stronger voice in shaping local priorities and engaging with government programmes.
President Ruto has repeatedly insisted that he will fulfil every promise he made to Kenyans, even as critics accuse him of making ambitious pledges during the campaign period.
“I want to state that it is not over-promising; we are raising our ambition as a nation,” Ruto said during the consecration and installation of Africa Inland Church Machakos Area Bishop Benjamin Kalanzo at AIC Bomani Masaku Service grounds in July 2025.
The President has continued to defend his administration’s development agenda, maintaining that his government is on course to implement its campaign manifesto.
“I want to pledge to you that whatever it takes, I will continue to lead from the front because you dont get an opportunity to be President anytime, it's a privilege,” Ruto said during the signing of the National Infrastructure Fund at State House on March 9, 2026.
