The bodies of the six people including the body of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno who died in a plane crash, arrived at Lee Funeral Home on March 1, 2026/ DOUGLAS OKIDDYA sombre mood engulfed the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport cargo centre on Sunday as hearses bearing the remains of Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno and five other victims departed under tight police escort.
The convoy, accompanied by family members and close associates, moved slowly out of the airport’s cargo terminal shortly after the bodies were received from Eldoret.

DOUGLAS OKIDDYThe bodies had earlier been preserved at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue following Saturday’s helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County.
The bodies were transported to Lee Funeral Home, where post-mortem examinations and further identification procedures are expected to be conducted before burial arrangements are finalized.
