A man is being sought by police after his wife was killed in a domestic incident in Tiaty, Baringo County.

The incident occurred on February 4, 2026, in Komolion village.

Police said the woman, aged 30, sustained injuries to the head.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene following the attack.

Efforts to trace him for questioning are ongoing. Authorities have moved the woman’s body to the mortuary.

In a separate incident in Rangwe, Homa Bay County, a 40-year-old man, Peter Bwore, was found dead by the roadside with injuries to the head and cheek.

Police said the motive of the assault is not yet established.

The body was discovered on February 4 and has been taken to a mortuary pending further investigation.

In the same area, police arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a retired teacher and his wife over a land dispute.

Joseph Ooko and Pamela Akeyo were reportedly attacked in the Asumbi area on February 1. A local teacher surrendered to police after fleeing when locals set fire to his house following the incident.

Authorities said they are still seeking another suspect believed to be linked to the attack.

Elsewhere, in Tigoni, Kiambu County, the body of a man was found floating in Rwaka Dam, with drowning suspected.

Police recovered the body and transferred it to a mortuary for identification and autopsy. They have not ruled out foul play.

In Mikindani, Mombasa, a man was injured after falling into an open septic tank while carrying timber. He sustained head injuries and was rescued by passersby before being taken to hospital.

Police and witnesses urged local authorities to secure open manholes to prevent similar accidents.

In Kisumu’s Pap Onditi area, a night guard was seriously injured during a robbery at a local resort.

The assailants stole a gasoline generator, two sound mixers, an assortment of liquor, and Sh3,000.

The victim was taken to hospital, and police said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
