
Members of a county assembly are baying for the blood of a governor’s aide after he allegedly vanished with cash meant for the ward representatives. The aide, popularly known as “Mr Fix It”, is said to have been tasked with delivering a New Year gift from the governor to MCAs, funds that never reached the intended beneficiaries. He has not been seen at the county headquarters since early January. Insiders say he remains an employee of the county government amid mounting political tension.

A first-term UDA governor recently caused drama at a popular city hotel after a confrontation turned heated. Eyewitnesses said the incident began when a lawyer, who has provided legal services to the county for years, confronted the governor during a meeting with senior county officials.
