
A 21-year-old man was stabbed and killed in an altercation in a bar in Kabachi, Mutuati, Meru County.
Police said Basilio Mungathia had an argument with a woman in the bar on Saturday when she stabbed him fatally.
The woman was arrested for questioning pending possible prosecution, police said,

In Nyamarambe area, Kisii County, one James Omandi, 55, was found dead on a footpath, which was about 200 meters from his home.
Police said blood was oozing from his mouth when the body was discovered.

Police discourage mob lynching and want suspects to be surrendered for processing and prosecution.
Police say most of the incidents are under investigation, while others have been solved.
Up to eight cases are reported on a daily basis.
