Gucha Stars face a stern test on Saturday when they take on Equity Bank in a National Super League (NSL) Matchday 17 encounter at Mashuru Complex in Kajiado County.

Both sides will be eager to return to winning ways after settling for draws in their previous outings.
Gucha Stars showed resilience last weekend, coming from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw against former FKF Premier League side Nairobi City Stars at Gusii Stadium.
Equity Bank, on the other hand, were held to a 1-1 draw by Michael Olunga Foundation Academy (MOFA) at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Gucha Stars head coach Sammy Okoth acknowledged the challenge of playing away from home but remains optimistic.
“We are on the road again, which is challenging, but we are looking for our first win of the year. Away games are always difficult, but we are looking forward to a positive result,” said Okoth.
The Kisii-based side has been dealt a major setback ahead of the encounter, having lost their leading striker, Vincent Nyabuto, to MOFA, while defender Hillary Wandera has joined SportPesa League outfit Administration Police Service (APS) Bomet.
Meanwhile, league leaders Migori Youth will be looking to extend their stay at the summit when they face a stubborn Naivas FC at Marist University Grounds in Karen, Nairobi.
Mully Children’s Family (MCF) will host Vihiga United at MCF Sports Complex in Ndalani, Machakos County.
Migori Youth, however, will be without influential forward Fred Ologi, who is sidelined for six weeks after sustaining an injury during last weekend’s clash against Kabati Youth at Awendo Green Stadium.
On Sunday, the spotlight will be on the Majirani Derby as Fortune Sacco lock horns with 3K FC at Kianyaga Stadium in Kirinyaga County.
Fortune Sacco head coach Vincent Nyaberi expects a tough contest against their Mt Kenya rivals.
“Derbies are always tough games, but as Fortune Sacco, we are targeting maximum points,” said the CAF B-licence holder.
At the bottom of the table, Mwatate United will host FC Talanta, buoyed by their first victory under new coach Evans Mafuta.
Mwatate edged Vihiga United 2-1 last Sunday to register their maiden win under Mafuta’s stewardship.
