Wololo TV Creator Reveals Storyline Was Based on Real-Life Breakup and Betrayal

Wololo TV content creator has disclosed that a recent storyline shared on his platform was based on a real event in his personal life.

During an interview with Dr Ofweneke, the digital content producer explained that although many of his videos are scripted for entertainment, some are drawn directly from situations he has experienced.

Revelation of the Breakup Incident

The creator said the storyline in question involved a girl he was getting to know and a friend he had known since school.

He explained that viewers had previously questioned the authenticity of some of his content, prompting him to address the matter openly.

“Unfortunately, some of the content I create is real. My girlfriend dumped me for my friend,” he said, adding that the relationship had not fully developed. He clarified: “We were in the talking stage, and my friend was someone I had known from school.”

He stated that sharing the details publicly helped him give context to a storyline that closely resembled what had happened in his personal life.

According to him, the interview offered an opportunity to confirm that the experience was not fictional.

Background Into His Personal Experiences

During the same conversation, the creator also spoke about past experiences that shaped his views on relationships. He said that at one point in his life, he lived with a partner who fully supported him for an extended period.

“Nishaiwekwa na msichana kwa bedsitter for eight months. Kazi ilikuwa kupika entertainment. I don’t believe in 50/50, it is either I go 100% ama niwekwe,” he said.

He explained that sharing such experiences allowed him to contribute to ongoing conversations about relationship roles, expectations and personal dynamics.

The comments provided insight into how different life stages have influenced some of the themes reflected in his online content.

The creator said the breakup incident and previous life experiences played a role in shaping the direction of the storyline that followed. He noted that Wololo TV often blends fiction with real-life moments, and while he does not always disclose which stories are personal, some of them originate from actual events.

He added that although personal experiences have occasionally influenced his work, his intention remains to produce content that aligns with the style and tone of his platform without shifting its overall direction.

The creator stated that he continues to focus on expanding Wololo TV and developing new material. He said the experiences he has shared form part of his journey as a storyteller and contribute to the themes he explores in his content.
