Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru visits Mama Ida at her Karen residence

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru paid a heartfelt visit to Mama Ida Odinga at her Karen residence to offer condolences on the passing of her husband, Raila Odinga.

She was accompanied by representatives from the County Executive, County Assembly, and members of the Daughters of Kenya (Mountain Chapter), where she serves as Patron.

“It was a deeply emotional moment visiting Mama Ida Odinga today to offer our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Baba Raila Odinga,” Governor Waiguru said.

She described Baba and Mama Ida as “extraordinary mentors and cherished friends over the years,” expressing gratitude to Mama Ida for her warmth and grace during this difficult time.

Governor Waiguru added, “Baba’s wisdom, courage, and unwavering love for our nation will forever live in our hearts.”
