Former President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Murang’a on Friday for a Jubilee Party grassroots leaders meeting at Kenol.

He was accompanied by Party Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni and former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

The gathering is expected to kickstart the party’s efforts to consolidate support in the region, with leaders seeking guidance on political strategies and the future direction of Mt. Kenya.

The meeting brings together Jubilee’s officials and constituency officials to deliberate on grassroots mobilisation, party cohesion, and strategies to strengthen the party’s influence in the region.
