Commercial banks with the lowest interest rates: Lending interest rates

Citibank N.A Kenya offered the lowest lending interest rate in August 2025 at 10.85%.

Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited followed with a rate of 12.29%, while Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited came in third at 12.74%.

Ecobank Kenya Limited and Guardian Bank Limited rounded out the top five, with rates of 12.96% and 13.63% respectively.

These figures reflect the cost of borrowing from each institution, with lower percentages indicating more favorable loan terms for customers.
