Dragged Into Viral Claims

The ordeal began when MC Gogo was linked to unverified claims about his sexuality and an alleged relationship with a Kenyan governor.

A blogger’s post sparked speculation online, quickly dragging his name into conversations he described as damaging and misleading.

The entertainer, known as one of the fastest-rising hype men in Kenya, dismissed the allegations as baseless. Speaking in a phone interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, he made it clear that there was no truth to the claims.

When asked directly if he was gay, MC Gogo laughed off the question and explained that he had never even met the politician in question.

“Hatujuani, tunapatana wapi? Sijawahi muona, hata akicampaign sijamuona,” he said, firmly stating that he is straight. For him, the rumours were simply “part of the problems that come with being famous.”
