
A BOSCH Report on AI 2025 provides a snapshot of which global regions are currently best equipped in terms of AI skills, highlighting significant disparities across continents.
The data, presented as a percentage indicating how ready a region is, shows North America leading the world with a readiness score of 53%.
Close behind is Asia at 49%, followed by Europe at 47%, demonstrating that these three regions are the most prepared for the future demands of artificial intelligence.
The readiness drops sharply in other parts of the world. Australia shows a score of 16%, while South America is at 11%.
The data indicates that Africa currently faces the biggest challenge in developing its AI skills base, registering the lowest score at just 3%.
This global index underscores the concentration of AI talent and infrastructure in the Northern Hemisphere and parts of Asia, pointing to a potential digital divide in the future of work and technology adoption.
