The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced several job vacancies in the County Government of Mombasa, inviting qualified and competent candidates to apply for various positions on a three-year contract basis.

The announcement, made through a public notice, seeks to fill both medical and administrative roles, emphasising equal opportunity and inclusivity in recruitment.

According to the notice, the county is looking to fill key medical positions, including Dental Officer, Registered Clinical Officer I in Anaesthetics and Paediatrics, Senior Registered Nurse (Anaesthetist), Medical Specialists in Cardiac and Pediatric Anesthesiology, Radiographer III, Registered Nurse III, Orthopaedic Trauma Technicians III, and Mortician.

Administrative vacancies include Court Process Server, Chief Executive Officer for the Elimu Fund, and members for the Audit Committee, including the Chairperson.

The Mombasa County Public Service Board emphasised that all applications must include a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, testimonials, a copy of the National Identity Card or Passport, and any other relevant supporting documents.

“These documents should be placed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the position applied for, and addressed to The Secretary/CEO, County Public Service Board, County Government of Mombasa, P.O. Box 80076-80100, Mombasa,” the notice stated.

Applicants are required to submit their applications physically to the Mombasa County Public Service Board offices, located on the first floor of the Betting and Control Building opposite Swahili Culture near the Mombasa Hospital, on or before October 17, 2025.

The board reiterated its stance as an equal opportunity employer, encouraging youth, women, persons living with disabilities, and marginalised or minority communities to apply.

The board cautioned against using agents or paying any fees in connection with the application process, noting that canvassing in any form will result in automatic disqualification.

“Please be informed that Mombasa County Public Service Board DOES NOT USE AGENTS nor CHARGE ANY FEE for its services,” the notice said.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews, where they must present originals of their CVs, academic and professional certificates, clearance certificates from the Commission for University Education for holders of degrees from foreign universities, and any other relevant documents.

The county aims to ensure transparency and fairness in the recruitment process while filling positions that are vital to the delivery of public services in Mombasa.
