According to the Communication Authority of Kenya Report: Sector Statistics for April 1 - June 30, 2025, the industry reported substantial increases in revenue from June 2020 to June 2024.
Total revenue from mobile services surged to Sh425.5 billion in 2024. This marked a significant 10.7% increase compared to the Sh384.3 billion reported in 2023.
The growth trajectory has been steady, starting at Sh280.1 billion in June 2020, rising to Sh315.1 billion in 2021, and then Sh339.4 billion in 2022.
The data highlights the mobile sector’s critical and expanding role in the Kenyan economy.
