The Mood matatu hit from behind in an accident in Eldoret./SCREENGRABIt was unveiled at a concert at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, complete with anointing and prayer, followed by entertainment for the youth.
Since its launch, the matatu has often been seen at high-profile events in Nairobi, and has drawn attention for pushing the boundaries of what commuters expect in terms of comfort.

As of now, the damage from the Eldoret crash seems cosmetic.
