The number of registered deaths in Kenya has fluctuated over the five-year period from 2020 to 2024.

In 2024, there were a total of 206,415 registered deaths, with 115,242 being male and 91,173 female. This figure is a slight increase from the 205,727 recorded in 2023.

The highest number of deaths in this period occurred in 2021, with a total of 231,944.

The lowest number was in 2020, with 185,385 deaths. Throughout the period, the number of registered male deaths consistently exceeded the number of female deaths.
