A highly publicised unfortunate incident has jolted some people in big offices. Why? Sources whispered to Corridors of Power that a section of the political elite have bitterly complained to their masters that their efforts are being squandered by some people sitting in air conditioned offices in the capital city. In fact, some now believe it is sabotage. They want the boss to look closely around him to see whether there are some enemies within. The politicians insist those triggering public rage should be dismissed as they are making their work difficult.

THE government eventually allowed the launch of a low-level diplomatic address of a neighbouring breakaway territory, despite initially publicly denying approval. We are told mandarins in a key office have not moved on from the refusal of a neighbouring country to back its bid for a key international job, hence the ambiguous position on allowing the launch. Organisers tried to limit press exposure of the event but they were not so successful.
