South African-born life coach Ofentse Tsipa has praised Kenyans profusely, saying they are incredibly accommodating and welcoming.
Four years ago, Ofentse traded the familiar for the unknown, and in doing so, discovered a treasure trove of warmth and hospitality.
In an interview with Mpasho, Ofentse expressed her gratitude to Kenyans for their kind gestures, which have allowed her to feel at ease.
She has blended in with the community with ease and feels that her positive reception demonstrates how welcoming the country is.
The ease with which she manages Kenyan life, highlighting the resources' accessibility and convenience, further demonstrates her seamless transition.
"I received that love, all of it, my heart is so full. I was actually surprised and shocked that Kenyan people are just like "welcome welcome.
"I mean, l shouldn't be shocked because even in real life Kenyan people are very welcoming. But I'm pleasantly surprised and I just really hope that I do you proud," she said.
Everything is easily accessible, she said, and she values how practical Kenyan resources are.
"I've been here for four years now, and I think the one thing that I've loved about Kenya is just the sense of convenience. Everything is at your fingertips. You want somethin,g you can get it now by the end of the day. I really love that."

Ofentse said she finds kinship in Lisa Oduor's soulful music, a striking example of her openness to local musicians and their music.
The Kenyan producer and singer-songwriter Lisa is well-known for her heartfelt songs. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Lisa has released a number of singles, such as "Daylight," "Today," and "No Way."
Despite not being a major music enthusiast, Ofentse actively supports Oduor-Noah by attending her concerts.
While maintaining a connection to her home country's music, she has embraced Kenyan artists, showcasing her willingness to explore and appreciate different musical styles.
It is not the familiar rhythm of South Africa, but a new beat, a Kenyan pulse that captured her heart.
"I don't know a lot of artists in Kenya because I'm not a very big music person. I listen to a lot of popular music, just whatever's playing on the radio.
I like listening to Lisa's music. That's my person because I also go to all her concerts, like whenever she's at Blanket and Wine. She was at Alloy the other day.
"Lisa, shout out wherever you are for putting out good music. You have a fan here," she said.
Ofentse worked with various multinational companies, including Truworths and Givaudan, before settling in the country as a life coach.
