Political honcho donating millions in harambees, peanuts to his community

Disquiet has rocked a key parastatal over the alleged improper conduct of one of its board members. Sources inform Corridors that the board member has been reportedly utilising his powerful brother, a senior government official, to undermine and intimidate suppliers, service providers and staff. The frustrated team is now allegedly seeking ways to rein in on the officer, who has instilled fear throughout the agency. They are pursuing an audience with senior officials in the government or prominent opposition politicians to express their concerns about the man. To restore peace and order, they want him removed from the agency.

Why has a vocal political honcho become suddenly influential in harambees? Well, the politician traversed three counties recently attending key fundraising events. The MP was reportedly flying a chopper and donated millions during the public harambees. What is not clear is how he has allegedly managed to pull a lot of resources recently, despite his known salary and other income. He is also lined up for other major harambees in the coming weeks. However, there are questions as to why he has not conducted any single harambee in his own constituency in the recent past. He purportedly donates very little money to funerals and other social and community events back home.
