Nyanza MP shaken as party insider dines with rival

AN MP FROM the Nyanza region is reportedly a worried man. The lawmaker is said to have just learnt that a top official of his party has been meeting his rival in private. It is rumoured that the party official has held several meetings with the man both in Nairobi and at his rural home, where he has introduced him to who is who in his political inner circle. The official has also been supposedly spotted in social gatherings at the man’s home. Many say the MP will find it rough defending his seat on the party ticket come 2027.

A LAWMAKER FROM Rift Valley is allegedly angry at a senior state official for thwarting his bid to fly abroad. The lawmaker had sought facilitation to fly for personal engagements overseas. However, things changed in the last hour, thwarting his plans. The MP is now accusing a senior state official, with whom he has had run-ins for the longest time, of engineering his woes. He has reportedly vowed to launch political attacks on the official who enjoys the support of the top echelons of government.

TWO SENIOR ADMINISTRATORS in Central Kenya allegedly caused mayhem at a popular hotel in the area as they confronted the management of the premises. The man and his female colleague were totally drunk and were staggering when they arrived.  They harassed everyone without provocation. In CCTV footage, they are seen ordering the manager to lower the television volume and threatening to confiscate all the alcoholic beverages in the pub. The two are suspected to be lovers and were reportedly coming from a drinking spree and other escapades.
