He had even supposedly prepared to throw a bash for his people to celebrate the achievement and the residents were waiting for the big day. It is said the man has never been seen in public since recent appointments were made, and that he has kept indoors at hotel in a neighbouring constituency.

The tycoon, who has links to a top political figure, issued threats after the whistleblower raised a red flag over a contract a parastatal awarded him. The whistleblower alleged that the man’s firm did not meet tender requirements but bagged the contract due to his connections to top officials.

A SECOND-TERM MP is reportedly a man on the run. Residents are said to be baying for the man’s blood after reports emerged that he had allegedly entered into a deal with the current administration to ‘finish’ a governor from the area. The lawmaker is said to be working on a plot to have MCAs impeach the governor. Residents have, however, warned MCAs who are in the MP’s axis that they will also go home in 2027 unless they cut ties with him.
