Some professionals from the county were overheard wondering how the facility qualifies as a referral hospital. They lament that the facility allegedly has no bedsheets and the requisite linen yet the county boss preaches how much the hospital has been transferred. An official reportedly got the shock of his life after being asked to help clean a bedsheet a niece had used. It is said that those who don't cooperate stay without the precious linen.

  A lawyer once close to a popular political figurehead allegedly got an embarrassing moment after his supposed godfather snubbed him. The man was reportedly shoved off by two politicians as he attempted to catch the attention of the big man, who was busy attending to a treasured guest. Corridors of Power is told that the big man had purportedly given instructions he wanted nothing to do with the fellow. Those aware of the intrigues say the man did not believe.

 Talk of embarrassment, a speaker at one of the strategic devolved units got a shock after his junior allegedly accosted him and blocked his car pathway at a basement parking in a standoff that took several minutes. Efforts by his aides to have the junior give way was futile. The junior officer, on realising the gravity of her actions, reportedly reached the county boss to intervene. Corridors of Power has learnt that the speaker has purportedly been asked by the county boss to downplay the issue and embrace mediation. The speaker is allegedly under pressure to take drastic action against the bossy notorious junior officer.

They say politicians will do anything for attention and recognition and when they are not given a chance to speak or wave to the people, they can be quite sensitive. A vocal legislator aligned with a former influential figure in government might have allegedly protested the failure of the leader to give her a chance to speak at a forum in Nairobi. The woman, who has been a key defender of this leader, reportedly quietly walked out before the event was done and just when the photo session was starting. It could be because she felt she ranked higher than those who were offered time to speak given she is a sitting member of Parliament.
