The officer, located at a strategic town with a cosmopolitan ecosystem, has been purportedly coercing Kenyans to sell him vehicles at throwaway prices whenever they are locked in stations for a long time. He is allegedly involved in a racket that makes fake ownership documents to aid his now thriving business. Locals have threatened to stage major protests if the man is not transferred.
