Sources told Corridors two influential officers working immediately below the principal secretary allegedly duped young female staffers they would be rewarded with “lucrative posts” if they accepted to the roll and romp. The young women purportedly gave in but were, unfortunately, left high and dry. Their supposed godfathers have since been moved. Some insiders say one of the officials has supposedly for long insubordinated the HR department while misleading the PS about the affairs of the ministry. A petition is reportedly being drafted for Parliament about the blatant abuse of office.

A FORMER MP, who is plotting a political comeback after losing his seat in 2022, appears to be a happy man. This follows reports that auctioneers have allegedly descended on properties owned by his perceived main rival for the 2027 election. The move has exposed the opponent’s dwindling financial fortunes. He is allegedly under the hammer for defaulting on a loan from a microfinance institution. While two of his homes in Nairobi purportedly face the auctioneer’s hammer, a restaurant associated with him has apparently already been sold. The embattled politician was supposedly overheard at a funeral bragging about how he had amassed enough money to easily clinch the parliamentary seat in 2027. But with his current financial woes, his confidence may have evaporated.

This follows allegations he skipped two crucial regional tours by top government officials. He was allegedly overheard telling friends at a popular joint that he had received a call from a senior government figure, warning him he faces imminent dismissal over insubordination. The ex-legislator has since been seen supposedly moving from office to office seeking help. Whether he will succeed remains to be seen.
