A LAWMAKER WHO has purportedly not been seeing eye to eye with a powerful state official threw a bash to celebrate a recent newspaper headline that severely criticised the officer. The man allegedly hosted the gathering in a city liquor establishment, where he celebrated the exposé on the official’s incompetence. Those in attendance say he bought several copies of the newspaper and hired youths to distribute them in the official’s home county. He reportedly claimed the headline vindicated his assertions that the powerful officer was incompetent. He implored the appointing authority to take action against the official.
