President William Ruto has landed at Sagana State Lodge ahead of his tour of the Mt Kenya region.

His five-day tour of Mt Kenya development tour is expected to start on April 1.

Ruto was received by a host of area leaders led by Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi and the National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa.

He could be seen interacting with residents who had been waiting to welcome him ahead of his tour of the region.
