IS A COUNTY chief from Western keeping tabs on a senior officer’s ordeal? Well, Corridors of Power is apprised that unknown assailants allegedly left the officer for the dead after a brutal attack. The motive of the attack is said to be a mixed bag of a supposed love triangle and ordinary crime. The incident reportedly happened at a posh estate in a major town. It is alleged that the officer had visited the area to collect a huge amount of cash for his boss to “seal a deal” and secure re-election. The county chief desperately wants the matter kept under wraps.
