There was drama at a popular restaurant within a neighbouring county of South Rift last weekend.

 A senior county official was reportedly caught red-handed in a compromising position with the wife of his boss, who happens to be the governor.

Surprisingly, the woman has been allegedly having marital issues with the husband after he took a young woman who recently graduated from an international university as a side chick.

Our small bird informs us that there was a heated argument between the senior official and the woman over unknown issue leading to the confrontation.

Recently, we told you of a top state functionary who was considering quitting rather than getting hounded out of office.

 We gather that the fellow is reportedly negotiating with the concerned parties for a respectable exit strategy.

More officers with whom he shares the predicament are said to be taking cue.

 The officers were reportedly overheard at a secluded joint where they always meet exuding confidence that those they want to approach will play ball.

Who is this former county boss reportedly struggling very hard to meet the head of state to regain his political favour?

Our mole tells us that he has tried all means possible in vain, including promising some influential politicians handsome rewards should they succeed in facilitating the meeting.

Those who have been approached are, however, just giving him the needed attention but not helping, Word has it that the powers that be do not want anything to do with him.

The man's past record is not very clean and is seemingly marked by several controversies, which might be the stumbling block.
