A YOUTHFUL MP whose star was fast rising is suddenly quiet and low-key, leaving his colleagues perplexed and concerned.

The man, who at the height of fierce confrontation between the opposition and the government had all the attention for his acerbic tongue, has supposedly gone mute and is often lonely in Parliament.

Corridors of Power understands the legislator was allegedly denied some crucial tender he had schemed for.

Also, the powers that be reportedly told him to tone down the harsh rhetoric he had reserved for a veteran politician who was a detractor of his party leader.
