First term governor's mistress on the spot for using county vehicles

A FIRST-TERM GOVERNOR is on the spot for allegedly letting his mistress be driven around by county-paid drivers and vehicles, yet senior officials have no official transport. A little bird told Corridors that the woman is reportedly picked from her house, driven to her place of work and returned home in the evening every day. She is also said to run her errands using county vehicles on weekends, including going to her village home in the neighbouring county.

AN MP FROM Eastern is a frustrated man with nothing to reward supporters he mobilised to back the governor. The lawmaker recently faced the wrath of his constituents at a meeting of local leadership. Residents assured the MP that the governor would lose the 2027 election and told him he would go down with the county boss.
