CS angry at MP after being roasted at House committee

MORE THAN two years into the Kenya Kwanza Administration, a top office in the country seems yet to understand the intricacies of diplomacy and protocol. This week, the office prematurely released a draft statement on a regional joint engagement reportedly without the approval of their counterparts from the other regional body. Corridors understands that the document was yet to be revised and approved, catching the other regional body by surprise. A meeting of high-level officials that was to discuss and approve the communication was set for this weekend.

A CABINET secretary was frothing at the mouth in corridors of Parliament after an appearance on the floor, why? A noisy member of an opposition party roasted him for his alleged obsession with the next election, yet his docket was doing badly. What angered the man was the fact that they are in the same outfit with the lawmaker, whom he accuses of vendetta and malice against him. The CS complained that the man’s questioning was not objective and appeared to have other scores to settle. He promised that sooner rather than later, the youthful man will feel his weight.

A PREVIOUSLY vocal politician from Mt Kenya region has suddenly went quiet. The close ally of the impeached Deputy President had caught national attention in his defence of his ally but has since toned down. He has in recent days been engaging with close associates of the President triggering whispers that he has retreated for his own preservation. Observers also say the politician might have started making too many blunders that painted his ally in a negative light.

A TOP official of a leading county government known for always carrying his camera to work has surprisingly gone missing in action. Residents of the county have gone online to express their yearning for the zealous official's attention to point out wrongs in an ongoing spat between his employer and another state run agency. It is not known when the official will appear to speak over the prevailing matter but observers now question the motive of his many social media posts which were aimed to expose how city residents are at risk.
