President William Ruto on Wednesday held talks with outgoing Indonesian Ambassador Mohamed Hery Saripudin.

The President met Hery Saripudin at State House, Mombasa.

"Kenya and Indonesia enjoy strong diplomatic relations, and we are committed to deepening our strategic partnerships for shared prosperity," Ruto said during the meeting.

"Indonesia remains a key partner in expanding investment opportunities, particularly in renewable energy, edible oils—especially palm oil—and seaweed production. These sectors hold immense potential for job creation, industrial growth, and sustainable development."

Ruto wished the outgoing Indonesian Ambassador success in his future endeavors.
