"I am not the girl you get at the end of a movie. I am the scriptwriter. The executive producer. The camera person and the main star. I am the movie... -A Mrs. K production. I don't want normal, and easy, and simple... I want painful, difficult, devastating, life-changing, extraordinary love," she wrote.

Maribe’s Instagram post triggered a wave of responses, with some fans comparing her to the fictional character Olivia Pope from the TV series Scandal, known for her complicated romantic life. "Scandalous babe!" one user commented.

While some praised her for embracing a powerful and independent stance, others expressed concern about the idea of wanting a painful and devastating love.

A Look at Jacque Maribe’s Love Life

Maribe has had a complicated and very public romantic history. One of her most well-known relationships was with comedian Eric Omondi, with whom she shares a son.
