Despite all the buzz, neither Kairo nor Wavinya has officially confirmed whether they are still together.

Khalif Kairo’s Legal Drama

Meanwhile, Kairo is facing serious legal issues. On January 28, he appeared in court to answer fraud-related charges.

Through his lawyer, Davidson Makau, Kairo requested the court to return his passport, saying he needed to travel to the U.S. for a fundraiser.

However, the prosecution was not convinced. They insisted that before any decision was made, Kairo had to provide full details of his travel plans, including the exact date of his departure.

Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina scheduled another hearing for January 31 to verify Kairo’s travel documents before deciding on the passport request.

Just when it seemed like Kairo might be making progress in his case, things took a dramatic turn. As soon as he left the courthouse, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) intercepted him. He was placed in a police vehicle and driven away.

The reason for his sudden re-arrest was not immediately clear. However, reports suggest that it may be linked to multiple complaints from clients who claim Kairo failed to deliver on his business promises.
