President William Ruto on Tuesday evening jetted back to Kenya from Tanzania.

The President was in Tanzania for the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Ruto was received by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and Environment CS Aden Duale, among other leaders.

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo was also present.

The summit will be held for two days—Tuesday and Wednesday.

Discussions during the summit were focused on accelerating energy access across the African continent.

It allowed the governments, private sector leaders, development partners, and civil society to advance the ambitious goal of providing electricity access to 300 million people by 2030—known as Mission 300.
