President William Ruto on Wednesday joined governors at the Governors’ Cup 2024 at Mumias Sports Complex in Kakamega.

The games, hosted by Governor Fernandes Barasa, were organised to promote unity, sportsmanship and health competition among the teams.

The Governor's Cup is also a part of the broader effort to use sports for community engagement and development in the country.
