Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday, December 15 attended the Tripartite Summit on the peace and security situation in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The summit was held in Luanda, Angola.

In a tweet on X, former President Uhuru Kenyatta was responsible for organizing consultations with armed groups to plan their demobilization, disarmament and social reintegration.

During the one-on-one meeting, this Sunday in Angola between Presidents Félix Tshisekedi and Joâo Lourenço, the mediation invited Uhuru Kenyatta to take stock of the Process of Nairobi, making a connection with that of Luanda.
