According to the Ugandan police spokesperson, the woman named Josephine Nyapendi claimed that she was brought a vision in a dream by the Holy Spirit about the illegal gun at the house of a relative named Vincent Emodo.
And true to her words, after leading the police to Emodo's house where the gun was found under the bed and led to his arrest.
"The information was given by Nyapendi Josephine who claimed that she was possessed by the holy spirit, thus making her reveal the presence of the gun to Onyapidi Alfonse who was praying at the time," the police spokesperson said.
The police spokesperson, mentioned that during the search, the police found an SMG with ammunition already.
"Further search of Emodo Vincent's house revealed one magazine containing 29 bullets," he added.
According to a police spokesperson, Emodo had fled to avoid arrest when the weapon was found.
However, the police managed to arrest him on October 27, 2024.
